Open Meeting Planner →Sydney's finance and mining head offices and Madrid's banking and telecoms are different worlds, which is exactly why they call each other. Put simply, when it is 09:00 in Madrid it is already 10 hours later in Sydney, on the following date.
The working week is Monday to Friday on both sides: roughly 09:00–17:30 in Sydney and 09:00–18:30 in Madrid. On the Sydney side the dates that break a schedule are Australia Day (26 January) and Anzac Day (25 April); on the Madrid side, Epiphany (6 January) and Good Friday (March or April).
The office days never overlap; the workable slots are Madrid's early morning against Sydney's evening. Rotate the inconvenience rather than fixing it on one side. Both cities change their clocks, on different dates, so the gap is an hour off for a few weeks each spring and autumn.
Sydney is 10 hours ahead of Madrid. The gap changes by an hour around the clock changes.
There is no hour when both offices are open. The closest is early morning in Madrid against the end of the day in Sydney; alternate which side takes the awkward slot.
Alternate. A standing call that is always 07:00 for Madrid or always 19:00 for Sydney is resented within a month; rotating it keeps both sides in the room.
Not always. At 09:00 in Madrid it is already the next calendar day in Sydney, so every invitation should carry the date in both cities.
