Open Meeting Planner โPrague's automotive and software and Brussels's EU institutions and lobbying and law are different worlds, which is exactly why they call each other. The two keep the same clock, so the only thing to plan around is the calendar.
The working week is Monday to Friday on both sides: roughly 08:00โ16:30 in Prague and 09:00โ17:30 in Brussels. On the Prague side the dates that break a schedule are Czech Statehood Day (28 September) and Liberation Day (8 May); on the Brussels side, National Day (21 July) and Assumption (15 August). Replies slow in Prague during July and August and in Brussels during mid-July to mid-August.
With no gap to bridge, the whole office day is available on both sides; only the holidays above need checking. Each side observes daylight saving on its own schedule; the gap moves twice a year and back again.
None โ Prague and Brussels keep the same clock.
Both work Monday to Friday, so any weekday works.
The ones that most often surprise the other side are Czech Statehood Day (28 September) and Liberation Day (8 May) in Prague and National Day (21 July) and Assumption (15 August) in Brussels.
Yes, but not on the same dates, so for a few weeks each spring and autumn the gap is an hour narrower or wider than usual.
